A list of events of interest to Messerschmitt Enthusiasts, taking place throughout 2019. We will be adding and updating details of events during the course of the year, so do come back and check from time to time. Pub Nights

Bristol Clubnight
2nd Wednesday in each month. The Major's Retreat, High Street, Tormarton, GL9 1HZ, just north of Junction 18 of the M4, 1st right off the A46 Stroud road, down to the crossroads, right into the village to find a proper local. Always 'schmitters at this one.

East Midlands section of The Morgan Three Wheeler Club
3rd Wednesday of each month. The meeting is held at the Royal Oak, Brandon, just off the A428 to the east of Coventry. Messerschmitt owners and enthusiasts are invited by the group organiser, Malcolm Bull, who is also a Club member and runs a 'very nice' 1957, KR200. This will suit East Midlands Members for whom the The Fleece Inn, Bretforton, is a shade too far for an evening trip out!

6th January
The *NOSH* Lewknor. The Messerschmitt Enthusiasts' annual opener at a traditional English Pub, just off the M4 and below the western edge of the Chilterns, Oxfordshire. A ‘modern' interpretation of the Annual Christmas Event, held by the Club since it's foundation, 50 years ago! If you've missed it, same place same weekend next year!! Details: “The *Nosh*".
9th – 10th February
The Great Western Classic Car Show 2019. Sponsored by Footman James and kicking off the show season, this is the biggest and best of its kind in the South West of England. Details: “Great Western Classic Car Show” .
14th – 17th February
The London Classic Car Show. EXCEL London. 'The must-attend event for any discerning classic car owner, collector, expert or enthusiast'. Details: “London Classic Car Show”.
1st – 3rd March
42nd Antwerp Classic Salon 2019. Antwerp Classic Car Show - Antwerp Expo, Belgium ‘One of the best in Europe' and featuring this year, the Lamborghini 'la sensazione Italiana' and 60 years of the Mini. Details: “Antwerp Classic Salon”.
22nd – 24th March
Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show N.E.C. Birmingham,. Still the UK's fastest growing classic car event and and hailed the ‘friendliest of car shows'. Over 28,000 enthusiasts will attend during the weekend. Supported by the FBHVC and the Heinkel Trojan Club (with special discounts for members). 5th – 7th April
VETERAMA Hockenheimring at the Hockenheimring, Am Motodrom, 68766 Hockenheim. The 'Season opener at the Hockenheimring' includes a massive autojumble. More than 2,500 exhibitors, about 20,000 visitors and about 300 automobiles offered at the marketplace for entire vehicles The event takes over the Hockenheimring motor racing circuit, which will host the 2019 German F1 Grand Prix at the end July. 5th – 7th April
Old Timer Show Budapest at the Hungarian Railway Museum. Over 500 exhibits. Classic cars and railways, what more could you ask for! Entries accepted and a brass plaque awarded to attendees. Lots of activities. For details, go to: “Budapest Show”. Up-to-date English translation not yet available.
10th – 14th April
31st Techno-Classica Essen. World Show for Vintage, Classic and Prestige Automobiles, Motorsport, Motorcycles, Spare Parts, Restoration and World Club Meeting. In Essen, Germany. Details: “Techno-Classica Essen”.
19th – 22nd April

6th May
The 2019 Aero-Auto Jumble Classic Car Rally, & Vintage Fly-in,. at Popham Airfield, Coxford Down, Winchester SO21 3BD. More details and a link to an application form can be found here: “Popham”. Please note that on the day, only classic cars and paying traders will be admitted into the main arena and a valid pass must be displayed on entry. Your entry pass entitles a driver and one passenger to attend free of charge. Classic vehicles are models over 20 years of age.

Beaulieu Spring Autojumble. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, with over a 1000 stands & stalls, the Spring Autojumble is perfect for those with an existing project looking for parts, looking for your next project and of course motoring enthusiasts! 6th – 9th June
Micro Maniacs 30th Annual Northern Microcar Rally. A long week-end event to be held at: Vale of Lune RUFC, Powderhouse Lane, Lancaster LA1 2TT (Tel: 01524 64029). 9th June
Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway's June Classic Vehicle Clubs Day at Toddington Station, Gloucestershire, GL54 5DT. Combines the scene of historic road transport with a backdrop of vintage trains. Although the June event is primarily for Car Clubs and organized jointly with the Prescott Breakfast Club, individual participants are welcome. Details and forms entitling you to free entry, here: “Toddington Classic Vehicle Days”. For visitors not entered and wishing only to visit the classic car display but not travel on the railway, there will be an entry charge of £3 for adults; children under 12 are free. For those visitors travelling on the railway, entry is free to the classic cars upon display of your train tickets. Normal fares apply to this event!
14th – 16th June
Heinkel Trojan Club AGM Rally Weekend at the Bubble Car Museum, Clover Farm, Langrick, Boston PE22 7AW. Road run on Saturday to local place of interest and possibly short run out on Friday afternoon. AGM Meeting to take place on Saturday evening at 7pm followed by a BBQ or buffet at 'reasonable cost'. All micro car owners are welcome to this event. 20th – 23rd June
Messerschmitt Club Deutschland Annual Rally. Am Viehmarkt, 54576 Hillesheim-Eifel, a medieval town, located in the Vulkaneifel district of the Regierungsbezirk Trier (Rhineland-Palatinate) Germany. This meeting is not on a campsite, so space is limited and trailers/caravans and motorhomes may need to be located elsewhere. Castle Combe Summer Action Festival 2019 at Castle Combe Circuit, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN14 7EY. Show, displays, demonstrations, autojumble and track time both 'parade' and 'flat out' as you wish! Open to all! Details 'and prices' here: "Castle Combe".

The 40th Bristol Classic Car Show at the Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset BA4 6QN. Sponsored by Footman James, the Bristol Classic Car Show is the longest-running event of its kind in the UK. Details here: “Bristol Classic Car Show”.
27th – 30th June
Micromaniacs' ‘Darlington Rally' at Hurworth Grange Community Centre, 41 Hurworth Road, Hurworth, Darlington, Co. Durham DL2 2BN, Tel: 01325 720840. Costs: £10 per unit per night + £1 insurance charge (£3 for non members). Bar on site! Toilets, showers and waste disposal available in the Community Centre but NO electric hook-ups available. 14th July
Naunton Classic & Vintage Transport Show & Village Fete. A day event from 11:00 - 16:00 at: Naunton Recreation Ground, Village Avenue, Naunton, Gloucestershire GL54 3AS. £5.00 entry per vehicle 'in advance' includes: driver and first passenger, plus a cup of tea/coffee and a bacon sandwich for the driver. 28th July
Stroud Classic Car Show the Playing Field, Bisley Old Road, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL5 1NL. Free entry to exhibitors and the public. No need to book, just turn up on the day, although the organisers would appreciate it if you let them know that you will be attending. 1st – 4th August
Messerschmitt Owners Club ‘Sycamore Farm' Rally to be held at Sycamore Farm, Nether Alderley, near Macclesfield, Cheshire SK10 4TU. All the usual stuff plus visits to the Anderton Boat Lift (for canal enthusiasts) and the Avro Heritage Museum, amongst other attractions.
